We broadcast kiln fired quartz granules into a wet polyaspartic body coat, to refusal, so the texture is solid mineral bonded through the full depth of the film. A clear polyaspartic topcoat locks the quartz down without burying it. The whole system runs $10 per square foot, published, with the balance due only once it is installed.

Under the quartz sits the same prep as every Slabbr job: diamond grinding with HEPA dust extraction and rigid polymer crack repair, never an acid etch. In wet rooms that prep matters twice, because water finds any spot where coating bonded to dust instead of concrete. And because the quartz is broadcast to refusal, the wear surface is stone. Foot traffic polishes it slowly over years instead of wearing through it.

For garage sized spaces, quartz follows the same 1 day schedule as our flake floors. Walk on the floor in 24 hours, move contents back the next day, and put vehicles or heavy equipment on it at 72 hours. Hold washdown and hose work to that same 72 hour mark, so the topcoat finishes curing before it meets water and cleaning chemicals for the first time.

A textured floor cleans differently than a smooth one. Use a deck brush or stiff push broom with neutral cleaner and a hose or wet vac; a flat mop rides the peaks and skips the valleys. The kiln fired quartz will not fade, and the polyaspartic top will not amber next to a sunny doorway.
